Set a new rhythm for your spring and summer workouts by participating in the <\/span>Broccoli City Fit Fest<\/span><\/a>. Hosted by Broccoli City\u2014an organization determined to create a healthier and more sustainable future for Millennials, Gen Z, and everyone beyond\u2014the Fit Fest serves as a precursor to their popular D.C. music festival.<\/span><\/p>\n From 9 to 11 a.m. on May 7th, Broccoli Fest\u2019s fitness fanatics will set up shop at Anacostia Park for a morning of fitness and fun. The event kicks off with an unofficial 5K run and walk. Register online ($20) and move along the course at whatever pace is comfortable for you. Then stick around for a cool-down stretch followed by a group yoga session. If you\u2019re still in exercise mode after finding your yoga zen, there are more activities to try, including some high-intensity training led by a fitness guru.
